Virtual Crafting with Purty ParTAY
Welcome to Purty ParTAY Virtual Classes, where we take paper crafting a little over the top!
My classes are designed for crafters who love beautiful projects, fun folds, interactive elements, clever techniques, and all the little details that make a project extra special.
Classes are held virtually via Zoom, so you can join the ParTAY from the comfort of your own craft space!
Live Virtual Classes
Each live virtual class is centered around a featured collection, bundle, product, or theme and includes a box of supplies shipped right to your door.
Your class registration typically includes:
- A mailed class kit with the consumable supplies and prepared project pieces specified for that class
- Multiple exclusive Purty ParTAY projects
- Live instruction via Zoom
- Step-by-step PDF tutorials
- Individual project videos available after class
- Access to the class replay
Each class is a little different, so always check the individual class registration page for the exact projects, products, supplies, and details included.
How Registration Works
Registration for most Purty ParTAY classes is typically open for about 9 days.
Because these are physical class kits that I prepare and ship myself, registration deadlines allow me time to order products, prepare your supplies, package everything, and get your ParTAY headed your way!
Class kits typically ship approximately 7–8 days before the live class.
Exact registration deadlines, shipping dates, class dates, and other important details will always be listed on the individual class registration page.
Please register by the posted deadline. Once registration closes, additional class kits may not be available.
Before Class: A Little Prework!
Most Purty ParTAY live classes include a little prework before we meet.
The goal isn’t to give you homework! Preparing a few things ahead of time means that when we’re together on Zoom, we can spend more of our class time focusing on techniques, project assembly, fun folds, and all those special details rather than watching each other cut paper. 😉
About 3–4 days before the live class, you’ll receive an email containing:
- Your Zoom link and class information
- A link to your Prework Instructions
- Directions for anything that should be prepared from your class kit before we meet
Prework typically includes things like die cutting, cutting Designer Series Paper (DSP), and occasionally some light stamping.
I’ll tell you exactly what needs to be prepared, so you can have everything ready when it’s time to ParTAY!
Watch Your Inbox!
When you register for a class through PurtyPartay.com, you’ll receive an order confirmation email right away.
If you don’t receive that confirmation, please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
Your Prework Instructions, Zoom link, and class information are sent approximately 3–4 days before the live class, so keep an eye out as class gets closer.
Help Keep Purty ParTAY Emails Out of Spam
Please add Elizabeth@purtypartay.com to your contacts or safe sender list. This is one of the best ways to help make sure important class emails reach your inbox.
If you’ve registered for a class and haven’t received your class information as the class date approaches, please reach out before class day so I can help get you everything you need.
What You’ll Need
Your class kit includes the consumable supplies and prepared project pieces specified for that particular class.
Because every class is different, the individual class registration page will tell you exactly which products are included and which products are required or recommended.
Unless specifically listed as included, you should plan to provide your own basic crafting supplies such as:
- Featured stamp sets, dies, punches, or bundles required for the class
- Ink pads and coloring tools
- Adhesives
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Die-cutting machine
- Basic stamping and crafting tools
Be sure to review the What You’ll Need information on the individual class page before registering.
Can’t Attend the Live Zoom?
No worries! While crafting together live is always a ParTAY, you do not have to attend the live Zoom to take the class.
After class, you’ll receive access to:
- The class replay
- Step-by-step PDF tutorials
- Individual project videos
Class tutorials and videos are typically available approximately 2–3 business days after the live class.
That means you can craft along live with us or complete the projects later at your own pace.
A Note About Class Times
Unless otherwise noted, all Purty ParTAY class times are listed in Arizona time.
Arizona doesn’t observe Daylight Saving Time, so please double-check the time difference where you live when adding a class to your calendar.
