When You Need a Quick Crafting Fix… Try Crafting with Kits 💛
If you’ve ever needed a quick creative reset, crafting with kits might be exactly what you’re looking for.
There are two kinds of crafting days…
The ones where you have time to pull everything out, design from scratch, and make a whole creative mess…
…and the ones where you just need a quick win.
Lately, I’ve been leaning into crafting with kits because it gives me that instant satisfaction without the overwhelm.
Why Crafting with Kits Just Hits Different
There is something about opening a kit and knowing everything is ready to go.
No digging for supplies.
No decision fatigue.
No “where did I put that die?”
Just open… and start creating.
That’s the magic of crafting with kits. It gives you a finished project and that creative boost in a fraction of the time.
Stretching Your Supplies: Crafting with Kits Beyond the Basics
Of course… you know I couldn’t leave it alone 😄
I started with the Radiant Reflections Kit and challenged myself to see how far I could take it.
Here’s what I created using crafting with kits as my starting point:
💛 Affirmation Standing Clipboard
This stayed closest to the original concept.
As someone who loves words of affirmation, this piece immediately spoke to me. It’s simple, meaningful, and perfect for display.

📸 12 x 12 Scrapbook Layout
This began as a photo mat and turned into a full scrapbook page.
I added:
- die cuts from the Fern and Flora Dies (available 5/5/26)
- Natural Hues Texture Paper
- a few extras from my stash
This is where crafting with kits really shines… you can take one piece and completely transform it.

🌿 8 x 8 Shadowbox
This was my final project and where everything came together.
I wanted something dimensional for display, and this shadowbox gave me that perfect modern rustic look.

The Best Part of Crafting with Kits
All three of these projects came from ONE kit.
I usually grab two kits so I have extra pieces to play with…
…but this was a great reminder of how far crafting with kits can really go with just a few additions.

Why Crafting Makes You Happy (and Why Kits Help)
There’s a reason we keep coming back to crafting.
It gives you:
- a creative outlet without pressure
- a mental reset
- a sense of accomplishment
- something tangible you can enjoy or share
And crafting with kits removes the biggest barrier… getting started.
Sometimes you don’t need a full day to craft.
Sometimes you just need 20 minutes and a kit.
