Paper Pumpkin Storage: My Favorite Way to Organize Kits

One of the questions I get asked all the time is:

“How do you store all of your Paper Pumpkin kits?”

As I’ve been getting ready for Purty ParTAY’s Pumpkin Palooza, I’ve been pulling out kits, organizing supplies, and figuring out the best way to keep everything together. Along the way, I rediscovered one of my favorite storage solutions and knew I had to share it.

The Storage Folder I Use

I originally purchased this storage folder on Amazon because it was designed to hold metal dies. While it works great for dies, I quickly realized it was also perfect for organizing Paper Pumpkin kits.

The folder includes removable storage panels with pockets, making it easy to sort and store kit components while still being able to see exactly what you have at a glance.

Why I Love It for Paper Pumpkin

Shows the Folder plus a few of the cards from the May 2026 Kit

The panels with three pockets are perfect for Paper Pumpkin kits.

I can separate:

  • Card bases
  • Die cuts and embellishments
  • Leftover kit pieces

Everything stays together, protected, and easy to find when I’m ready to create.

No more digging through piles of boxes trying to remember which kit had that one embellishment you wanted to use.

Bonus Use: Quarterly Die Sets

Another reason I love this storage system is that the panels with four pockets work beautifully for Stampin’ Up! quarterly die sets and other coordinating products.

The pockets help keep smaller pieces organized and prevent them from getting mixed together.

How Much Does It Hold?

This isn’t a giant storage binder, and honestly, that’s one of the reasons I like it.

I find it works perfectly for storing approximately one year’s worth of Paper Pumpkin kits while still remaining easy to flip through and access.

Instead of becoming a giant black hole of craft supplies, it stays manageable and organized.

Easy to See What You Have

My favorite feature is being able to quickly flip through the pages and see every kit.

When I’m looking for:

  • A specific sentiment
  • Leftover embellishments
  • Card bases
  • Inspiration for alternate projects

I can find what I need in seconds.

That makes preparing for events like Pumpkin Palooza so much easier.

Getting Ready for Pumpkin Palooza

One of the reasons I started Purty ParTAY’s Pumpkin Palooza is because I realized I wasn’t the only one with a growing collection of Paper Pumpkin kits waiting to be created.

Each month, we’ll gather to create the previous month’s Paper Pumpkin kit together. We’ll make the projects as designed, explore alternate project ideas, and share inspiration along the way.

Having my kits organized and easy to access makes it simple to grab the kit we’re working on and start creating without digging through stacks of boxes.

If your Paper Pumpkin collection has grown a little larger than planned, you’re definitely not alone!

Want to Try This Storage System?

Final Thoughts

Crafting is more fun when you can actually find your supplies.

Between Pumpkin Palooza and this storage system, I’m finally making my way through my growing collection of kits while keeping everything organized and easy to find.

Whether you’re trying to organize a growing collection of Paper Pumpkin kits, keep quarterly die sets together, or simply make better use of your crafting space, this storage folder has become one of my favorite organizational tools.
